Hi everyone, summer is finally upon us and I just thought I would drop you all a note to keep you updated with what is going on down at the centre.

The competition season is now underway with two rounds of the British Championships having taken place and some of our local soba guys scoring well in both the boardercross and freestyle events. Round 3 is on 22nd / 23rd of July at Bideford in Devon and Soba are arranging a minibus, contact Dave for more info (07785936697).

Haredown and Soba will be holding our own event over the weekend of 19th/20th August it will be a fun family weekend with everybody welcome to camp for the weekend or to just come for one of the days. On the Saturday there will be Bouncy castles, equipment for sale, buggy racing, tug o war, races for all levels and abilities. There are some great prizes on offer and the chance to see some top guys competing.

 Howla are a new make of mountainboard who have been working with haredown MBC in order to manufacture the ultimate board, final testing took place this week at the centre and the first models should start to be produced next month. Keep an eye on the website for more details.

The new buggy run is now complete and offers a safe and exciting, if very fast run down through the woods, and is proving popular with dads accompanying their sons. Come and give it a go!!!!

Just remember don’t get bored during the summer hols as we are open for the whole of August, Tues- Sunday. See website for details.

Kids camps

The last few places are available on the summer camps; these look set to be a great four days action packed with fun.

Special Offers

August offer available for hire and ride. If you print out this letter and bring it with you, up to 3 people can hire and ride for 2 hrs for just £10 each. (Offer valid until 1st September)
Also if you bring somebody with you for their first time and you will be entered into a prize draw to win an ex demo board and kit. You can enter as many times as you like. Ask staff for details.
