Hello again everyone the summer is sadly over and haredown is back to weekends for its autumn opening hours. What a summer it was the weather was great and with haredown opening for the whole of August everyone seemed happy. The kids activity camps that ran throughout August were a great success with children (and staff) having a lot of fun and learning many new boarding skills, well done to all the kids who attended and achieved their certificates. These camps proved so popular however that we have decided to run them again in the October half term. Places are limited so book now if you would like a place.

 Haredowns annual end of summer competition and family fun day went really well, the weather stayed good and there was some top class four man racing to be seen. The blue boardercross was raced and it was great to see so many younger children taking part. Buggy racing on the new run was great to watch and was fast and furious (Dave!!!).

 Another big hit has been the foampit which is now up and running, and is allowing boarders to practice freestyle tricks in a relatively safe environment. Dave and Les are doing a great job with soba  and club nights on a Wednesday are still going strong.

The countdown now begins to the end of the season (Oct 28th) so if your looking for a second-hand board remember we will be selling our entire hire fleet at the end of October at some great prices. Boards are being snapped up already so if you want to bag yourself a bargain come down and reserve yours now.

There will be an end of season bbq on Saturday the 28th when we finish and all are welcome so come on down.

Kids camps

Please phone or email if you would like a place on the kids camps running from 10:00am-16:00pm between the 24th and the 27th of October. Numbers are limited so booking is essential. For more info see the website, www.haredown.com
